Intentions of this piece became aligned as I had a rare opportunity to venture the Amazonian jungle with my forever family from the Quechwa tribe of Ahuano (Rio Napo) Ecuador. Leo, an ancestral Shaman, passed down from this abuelo, are the North and South node lions of Ecuador, as was shown to me within the Akashic realm. I purchased these seeds from this area, as called upon, and created this piece using natural waxed Brazilian string, giving this natural, rough, Amazonian feel.
The Black seed in the middle is ‘Ojo de Venado,” eye of the deer, or eye of the horse in other cultures. This activates one’s ability to “see,” such as in the jungle, within one’s meditation as one travels requiring protection, or one requiring protection when doing healing work in ‘da hood,’ lol, as I often do, from experience.
The red and black seeds are from the Huayruro tree, which they naturally fall from. The red or root chakra, connecting/grounding you to Mother earth, and black, to see within the realms of uncertainty.
Together, ojo de venuda and huayruro seeds are used traditionally by Shamans of the Amazon. This powerful piece connects to those souls who need to tap into the warrior within, whether it be through stillness and in presence, or in times of protection.
**Please keep in mind that no two necklaces are the same because these are seeds of nature. Most seeds have natural inclusions and scratches. I try my best to take close enough pics so that you can see such "imperfections," which to me are war scars of remembrance, for these powerful seeds :)
